The Périgord Noir, already known for its truffles, boasts dark foliage, oak holm oaks, and the charcoal burners who processed wood there. It also boasts one of the largest numbers of caves and archaeological sites in the world, as well as world-renowned prehistoric sites such as Les Eyzies and Lascaux. Its many gardens invite you to stroll through the region, offering fabulous views of the Dordogne and Vézère valleys.

Along its two rivers you can navigate aboard a canoe, kayak or barge and take advantage of a few stopovers to appreciate the gastronomic treasures that the region abounds with.
